Tiny steps towards the Millennium Development Goals

In September 2,000 in New York City, 189 countries, including Honduras, reached a consensus, on the need for the implementation of eight universal human development goals and eighteen specific targets that should contribute to the significant reduction of extreme poverty by the year 2015. More than just universal human development goals, they represent values and human rights such as the fight against hunger, the right to basic education, the right to health and the responsibility towards future generations.
